Over the summer, SPY swimmer Margo Geer not only made her first 4 Senior National cuts, she went on to make her first two 2008 Olympic Trials cuts, in the 100 back and the 100 free. Geer's time in the 100 free at Nationals qualified her for the United States Swimming's National Junior Team which will be traveling to Melbourn, Australia in the end of December for international competition. SPY Head Coach Bruce Patmos was just selected by United States Swimming as one of the coaches to lead the Nat. Jr. Team in their competition. Both Geer and Coach Patmos will be traveling to Colorado Springs and the Olympic Training Center for an altitude training camp to get the Team members together once before the trip. | |
